Our loving brother, Bill, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, WI, due to complications from surgery.

Funeral Services are 1:00 PM Wednesday at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Terry Nash will officiate. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of services.

Bill was born September 25, 1953 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Stanley and Teckla Barse. He would have celebrated his 59th birthday this year. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972. The love of his life was Robin Katz, whom he married in 1989 in Las Vegas, NV. They traveled around Wisconsin visiting estate and rummage sales throughout their 19 years of marriage until Robin passed away in 2007.

Bill worked with his Dad at Stan Barse Heating and Cooling for many years, until he and Robin took over the business after Dad's retirement.

Bill was a gentle, caring man. People were drawn to him because of his laughter and sense of humor. He also was an animal lover and shared the last few years with his cat, Teckla. Bill was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, enjoying going to Dallas, TX to watch the Packers play the Cowboys. He enjoyed working on his battery operated cars and planes and collecting depression glass and antique toys.

Bill will be missed by his brothers, David (Nancy) Barse of Omaha, NE and Ed (Sandy) Barse of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; his sisters, Jan (Butch) Wisnefske of Algoma, WI and Susan (Bob) Henke of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Tucker, Ryan Barse, Shannon (Sandy) Barse, Valerie Barse, Andrea Barse, Thomas Barse and Lydia Barse; his uncle, Edward (Mary) Jacobsen; many cousins, great nieces and great nephews. Bill will also be missed by Terry and his wife, Deb Nash and many special friends at the Kingdom Hall in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Robin; his parents, Stanley and Teckla Barse; and sister and brother in law, Carol and Terry Tucker.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to a charity of your choice in Bill's name.
