"Understanding
that decisions are made easier when made in advance has helped us
become the areas number one choice for pre-planning services.
Our experienced staff takes the time necessary
to understand your needs and desires and helps plan and facilitate
the preplanning process for you."
Why Pre-arrange?
Pre-arranging your funeral will give you complete peace of mind,
because you have taken care of everything. You have freed loved
ones from having to make choices for you at a very difficult time.
Also, because you can pre-fund your funeral costs, you will never
subject your family to any undue financial burden.
Perhaps the best reason to prearrange, however, is time. You have
the time you need to talk things over and ask questions. Time to
make important decisions and time to change your mind!
All your Questions and Concerns are answered
No matter what your wishes are, you will find making pre-arrangements
with us, to be a simple procedure. Upon meeting with one of our
funeral directors, you will be able to decide from the options presented
to you, exactly what type of services and merchandise are right
for you.
Prearranging ensures that your family and funeral director know
exactly what kind of funeral services you want. Families tend to
take comfort at the time of death, simply from knowing that their
loved one's funeral reflects their wishes.
We offer You Options with Flexibility
There are several payment options for funding a pre-arranged funeral.
You may pay for it in one payment or in installments over a period
of time. By establishing a funeral trust, you choose the bank of
your choice that you wish to place your funds at. All funds placed
in a funeral trust are 100% vested, and are used exclusively to
pay for the services and merchandise you select.
If you need to prearrange and pre-fund a funeral as a means of
reducing or eliminating assets for the purpose of Medical Assistance
(Title 19), we have several qualified options which can be of considerable
benefit to you.
One option available for families is to choose to set up a funeral
trust. This means that you deposit a specific amount of money in
either one lump sum or installments into a bank trust account to
specifically cover your funeral expenses. The bank you want to choose
is your choice. By state law, 100% of the preplanning funds are
held in a bank trust account, and are used only to cover your final
expenses. Each funeral trust is fully insured by the FDIC to the
extent permitted by law.
Pre-planning is a wise decision. It allows you to compare services
and merchandise, and to fund a trust account at today's prices.
If the account is fully paid at the time of the pre-arrangement
consultation, the monies paid, plus accumulated interest accrued
in the funeral trust, will pay for the funeral services and merchandise
that you have selected when pre-planning.
A consumer may also have a non-funded burial plan. In that circumstance,
an individual meets with one of our funeral directors and chooses
the type of funeral services and merchandise they may desire, but
elects not to pre-fund their arrangements at this time. Instead,
our funeral home will keep all your written instructions and decisions
you have made on file at our funeral home so they can be implemented
upon death.
Take your time. Think carefully about what will be best for you
and your family, and discuss why you want certain arrangements.
By doing so now, you are assuring piece of mind for you and your
family now and in the time of need.
It is very simple to pre-plan your funeral wishes. Through the
years we have seen how important it is for families to be prepared.
Planning funeral arrangements in advance is easier for everyone
involved and can be done in a series of steps. Depending on what
you are comfortable with, you may select any one step or combination
of steps as we customize your wishes the way you want it. An hour
of your time is all it takes.
