Feldner-Ritchay Funeral Home, Nekoosa

The new Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa became
reality when we moved into our new facility on August 1, 2003 and
held our first funeral in the new facility on August 3, 2003. The
Ritchay family began their project with the purchase of the former
Nekoosa Foundry/Nekoosa Foodtown Grocery store/Nekoosa Fitness Center
and Fireplace store in late December, 2002.
Beginning in late January and continuing until late
July, 2003, the transformation took place with the help of many
capable local contractors. The 9052 sq. ft. building took shape
and now provides Nekoosa area families with a luxuriously appointed
funeral chapel that can be divided into two chapels if the need
arises and contains a state of the art sound system and spacious
entryways.
A comfortable and open-concept family gathering area
includes a kitchenette. An easily accessible carport attached to
the front of the building, and ample on-site and street parking,
make this a modern and up-to-date facility. Not only is "Family
to Family Service" the Ritchay motto, but also their commitment
to area families.
